Day 1
Depart for Delhi from JFK with our program founder on a comfortable flight.
Day 2
Arrive in Delhi to a traditional Indian welcome and transfer to comfortable Radisson Blu Hotel (Radisson Blu Hotel - New Delhi) You will meet local Harvard alumni and friends tonight over dinner. Relax and get over your jet lag.
Day 3
Orientation followed by Service which will mostly focus on getting to know the children in the children and the members of the organization serving them. You will meet and interact with social activist. Spend night at hotel.
Day 4
Service Learning. May include visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site such as Red Fort or Humayun's Tomb. Spend night at hotel. Host family stay: Included in the itinerary
Day 5
Service Learning. Spend evening with your loving host family and relax as tomorrow morning you are leaving for Agra to the Taj Mahal - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the seven wonders of the world. Spend night at your host family home.
Day 6
After breakfast you will you will leave for Agra and explore the Taj Mahal- take plenty of pictures so you can show your family & friends! Spend the night at comfortable Radisson Blu Hotel - Agra
Day 7
After breakfast you will leave for Delhi and may include visiting Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. May include visiting a local school in Agra where you can interact with local Indian students. Spend night at hotel in Delhi.
Day 8
Service Learning in the morning. Today evening you get a cooking class! Learn how to cook an Indian dish which you can share with your family back home. Over dinner you will interact with a former student leader and a current politician. Here is your chance to quiz him and learn from his experience. After dinner explore India through music and dance with our exclusive "Bollywood Night" get ready to dance and enjoy the evening. A professional D.J. will keep the music coming as long as you are willing to dance! Spend night at hotel in Delhi.
Day 9
Last day in India. Spend it by exploring Delhi through its metro train system and enjoy a pastry at Delhi oldest pastry shop located in Connaught Place, where you will visit Delhi's Central Park . Or just relax at the host family home. You choose to spend the day the way you want it. After dinner transfer to the airport for your flight back home.Day10
