Sample Itinerary - Explore India

Welcome to Incredible India ! Transfer to your 5 Star Hotel / Other Hotel in Delhi . DAY 3 - Delhi- Global Education >Visit your Delhi partner school > Interact and perform Community Service on your pre-planned project with your Delhi partner school students> On your way back-Explore a UNESCO World Heritage Site such as Red Fort, Qutub Minar or Humayun's Tomb) >Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group>Spend night at hotel

DAY 4 - Delhi>Service Learning>Visit a local Orphanage, meet and interact with orphan students> work on you planned project/perform Community Service>On your way to and from the NGO explore sites such as Raj Ghat ( Mahatma Gandhi memorial), Jama Masjid > Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 5 - Leave for Jaipur(180 Miles/6 to 9 Hrs) >arrive at 5 Star Hotel / Other Hotel >Enjoy a traditional Indian welcome at the Hotel>May include a Puppet show at night> Walk the local bazaar>Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 6 - Jaipur>Service Learning> Visit a local Orphanage >Meet and interact with orphan children> work on you planned project/perform Community Service> On your way to the Orphanage >Explore , Jantar Mantar (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Hawa Mahal (City Palace etc)>Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 7 - Jaipur > Global Education> Visit your local Jaipur partner school> Perform Community Service /planned project at the Orphanage>Spend time with orphan children>On your way enjoy an Elephant ride and explore Amber Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site)> Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 8 - Jaipur to Agra (150 Miles/ 6 to 9 Hrs) - Leave for Agra after breakfast> Explore Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO World Heritage Site) on the way> Arrive at 5 Star Hotel / Other Hotel >Enjoy a traditional Indian welcome at Hotel >May include a visit to a marble and handicraft gallery > May include walking the local bazaar>Explore Organic vegetable farm at the hotel > Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 9 - Agra> Global Education >Visit your partner Agra School> >Interact with local students>work on a pre-planned project with local students>On the way to school explore one of the Seven wonders of the world, the majestic Taj Mahal or Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Sites)> Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group> Spend night at hotel

DAY 10 - Agra to Delhi -(140 Miles/ 6 to 8 Hrs)> Arrive at Delhi> May include an evening of Bollywood entertainment at Kingdom of Dreams > May include visit to Chandni Chowk(Old Delhi) or Connaught Place(New Delhi.)> May include visit to one of the oldest landmark pastry shop in Delhi open since 1926> Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group>Spend night with your loving Host family

DAY 11 - Delhi to Dharamsala/Eco-Camp/Jungle Camp (Jim Corbett National Park) Campground >Depending on your destination details will be provided> Arrive at your destination Campground >Dharamsala/Eco-Camp/Jungle Camp> Acclimatization >Camp fire at night> Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group>Spend night at your Campground/Resort/Home stay

DAY 12,13 - Enjoy Himalayan camping in Dharamsala(or Home stay in Dharamsala) OR Eco-Camp OR Jungle Camping ( Jim Corbett National Park):
At Dharamsala>Global Education>Visit local Tibetan school>Visit Dalai Lama's compound> May include being blessed by his Holiness the Dalai Lama >Community Service> May include visit to historic landmarks such as : Bhagsunag Falls, Dal Lake, St. Johns Church, > Explore a Government in exile (Central Tibetan Administration)> May include visit to Buddhist Monastery> May include visit to Tibetan Institute of performing Arts (TIPA)>Camp fire at night >May include spending time in a Himalayan village> You may explore Dharamsala through a home stay with a local family.

At Eco-Camp (Camp is located at a height of 6020 ft in the middle of a preserved Pine Forest in the Panch Mundian Himalayan Mountain range)>Go hiking>Camp games>Global Education>Visit local school>Interact with local students> Enjoy a presentation by local school children>Visit a local village and spend morning at the village>Spend time with a local farmer> Cricket lesson>Cook breakfast & eat it with local village family>May include other activities such as milking a cow and self cooking in the forest>May include visiting a mushroom farm in(mushroom city of India) or a Tomato farm (in the vegetable bowl of North India)> May include visiting the Historic Mountain Railroads (UNESCO World Heritage Site)> May include visiting Barog Heritage railway station>May include exploring the longest tunnel on the Historic Mountain Railroad.

At Jungle Camp (Jim Corbett National Park)> The Camp in located on a preserved forest land on banks of a river>Enjoy Elephant ride across the river>May include Jungle Safari> Explore animals in Jim Corbett while on the Jungle Jeep Safari> Camp games>Cricket Lessons>Global Education>Visit local school>Visit local village> Bird watching>Visit a local Hindu temple> Camp fire at night >May include other monitered water activities

DAY 14 - Leave for Delhi from your Campground- Leave after breakfast>Arrive at your Host Family home> Explore and learn from your Host family's renewable energy Solar plant> Conversational Learning>May include visiting a local Hindu temple, a Sikh Gurudwara, Church and a Mosque to compare and contrast the co-existence of different religions in India> Conversational Learning >Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group>Spend night with your host family

DAY 15 - Delhi>Interact and learn from a former Student Leader>May include a visit to an Organic dairy farm>May include a visit to a BPO Call Center>Interact with call center employees and learn about outsourcing business in India> Go shopping and buy souvenirs> Conversational Learning> Reflect and learn from the day's experience as a group before heading home >Relax and later transfer to the airport for your return flight home
